A true professional in the world of real estate, Gwen Key Willis works diligently. Dedication to her career is evident in her constant drive to learn and grow in a dynamic field where her journey to becoming a REALTOR® led her to the successful broker she is today.

Raised on the north side of Houston, Gwen attended the High School for Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice. Having her eyes set on a future as an attorney, she began working for the police department. Gwen changed career paths and worked in the field of construction, clearing land and selling timber. Researching tax lien properties and purchasing a few piqued an interest in real estate law. Several classes later, Gwen arrived at the doors of her first real estate agency in the Northshore area of Houston, where high stakes and hefty commission splits only motivated her more.

Motivation is not Gwen’s only strength. It is her genuine caring for others and a need to protect them that drive her. She enjoys helping new clients and educating them on purchasing homes that are good financial investments. That desire to help others reaches beyond the workplace. As a member of the Humble Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, Gwen has held various board positions and offered many volunteer hours. She serves as Chair of the City of Humble Beautification Committee through parades and clean up events. Additionally, Gwen is Treasurer for the City of Humble Museum Board, a member of BNI Humble Business Alliance, and a member of the Lake Houston Chamber of Commerce.

Encouraged by her husband, Gwen obtained a Brokers’ license and opened Key Realtors in 2008. It was time to reinvest in herself the money she handed over to the first agency.

As a broker, Gwen thrives on helping her agents to be successful in reaching their own goals. Since 2008, Gwen has tripled her number of agents. Her insight and encouragement ensure that the agency helps as many clients as possible. As a team, they’ve made Key Realtors a community resource where everyone is welcome to ask questions and learn about real estate.

Gwen enjoys being outdoors. When she is not with clients or volunteering, she enjoys spending time with family on her property near Lake Limestone. She loves being surrounded by her husband, children, and grandchildren just relaxing on what will one day be a place to retire.
